ARM Financial Group, Inc. was a holding company that owned several insurance subsidiaries:
- Integrity Life Insurance Company (domiciled in Ohio) - Sold to Western & Southern Financial Group in 2000
- National Integrity Life Insurance Company (domiciled in New York) - Sold to Western & Southern Financial Group in 2000
- State Bond & Mortgage Life Insurance Company (SBM Life, domiciled in Minnesota) - Placed into rehabilitation/liquidation
- SPM Life Insurance Company - Affiliate company that underwent similar proceedings
Morgan Stanley was the majority shareholder of ARM Financial Group, owning approximately 90% of the company during its peak operations. Morgan Stanley acquired this stake as part of various investment banking transactions in the 1990s.
